Our Story
Make Welcoming a Pattern
Founded in the spring of 2024, WelcomePattern began with a group of friends in Indiana wishing to provide relief to victims of the global refugee crisis.
Upon learning about the opportunity for groups to sponsor individuals and families through Welcome Corps, we organized as a 501(c)3 to provide a framework for organizing sponsor teams and collect donations.
What we do
Working together, we welcome and aid refugee families in establishing patterns of connection and independence as they settle in Indiana. We focus on facilitating each individual’s ability to thrive and grow in their new circumstances.
We build lifelong friendships with newcomers, learning from their journeys,
and celebrating a stronger more diverse community.
